- Compatible with the OEM Springfield Armory extended Round Base Pad ONLY (20 Round for the 4.5 or 18 for the 4.0C) and our Aluminum Base Pads or 3d Printed Base Pads
- Magwell and Backstrap can be purchased separately as stand alone accessories.
- Add 12g Tungsten Weights to your backstrap (one for 4.0c and two for 4.5 backstraps)
Note: the Magwell Backstrap Combo does NOT include the Magwell Anchor which can be purchased separately or is included in a stand-alone Magwell order.
Note on Large Size Grip Modules: We’ve observed that some of the OEM Large grip modules are slightly shorter than the Small and Medium sizes. Because of this, the backstrap may extend a bit beyond the bottom edge, creating a small gap (less than 1/16 inch) between the magwell and the grip. This is only seen with the Large grip module and does not affect function or performance. The Large Grip can be a slightly tighter fit for the backstrap. A dab of oil can help ease of install if needed.

Holy smokes. So, I was initially very hesitant to buy this thing. I have a childhood injury on my right arm that causes my to grip my pistol in an odd way. Because of this, I always end up dragging my grip tape off the backstrap and it’s frustrating. However, with this backstrap, I don’t have that issue anymore.
The texting is soft to the touch and won’t rub your skin if you edc your Echelon. When you grip the gun, the texture sinks into your hand and really locks in your grip.
Add in the magwell, which is sexy and hosts OEM baseplates with no issue. When you add in the two tungsten plates, the weight balance on the pistol really just feels right. Like it’s finally found its home in your hand.
There’s no longer any doubt in my mind. This combo is truly fantastic and I’m delighted that I made the purchase. The price isn’t cheap, but that’s because the product isn’t either.

Top notch quality, have had it for a couple months and zero issues. Before i had NDZ magwell and it held on so weak you could almost pull it off. This one has no play at all i tried wiggling it and it wont budge, absolutely love it.
