- For the Echelon 4.5 we suggest running this with the OEM recoil Spring or an upgraded 12 lb ISMI Spring or 14.5 lb ISMI Spring depending on the ammo you shoot
- For the Echelon 4.0C we suggest running this with the OEM recoil Spring or an upgraded 14 lb ISMI Spring or 16 lb ISMI Spring depending on the ammo you shoot

Enhance your Springfield Armory Echelon with the RP Springfield Echelon Compensator, by Rook Precision. Our compensator is designed to reduce recoil and muzzle rise of the Echelon while also complimenting the aesthetics of the Echelon better than any compensator on the market.
The Springfield Echelon compensator threads onto the 9mm OEM threaded barrel and is held with 2 set screws which unlike most compensators, are designed to be hidden from view. For these reasons, we believe we have designed the best compensator for the Springfield Echelon on the market.

Compared to the others on the market it has the best fit and finish I have seen.
I do recommend getting the 12 pound recoil spring for training ammo like 115 grain FMJ.

It’s nice to have a product designed with your gun in mind. It’s a beautiful piece, and fits perfectly in place. You can definitely notice the difference if you’ve shot the Echelon a ton before installing the comp. It comes securely packaged, Allen key and blue thread lock. I’m glad I came across this comp.

I was so tempted to buy this because it seriously looks awesome. I did my research and read some up on some who have posted their thoughts and testing results. Since rook precision is new I was still a bit unsure what to expect with their quality but I decided to go for it and can say that it has exceeded my expectations. The machining and finish are flawless and it definitely makes a big improvement on recoil. Also super impressed with the packaging and attention to detail. I haven’t seen that out of other companies.

Ive currently got about 1000rds through the Rook Precision Compensator of which all of it I’ve filmed for an upcoming YouTube review. The slow motion footage doesn’t lie! Their comp performs considerably better then the other current Echelon compensators on the market by a good 10%. And the the design is very pleasing to the eye and is by far the best looking Compensator for it 100% no question. Looks like a natural extension of the slide with the index point leading into the side cuts, it’s awesome. Apex guide rod and the 14.5 lb spring and you’ll be saying RECOIL? NEVER HEARD OF IT stacking double taps on top of each other like its your job!

I’m seriously impressed with Rook Precision’s design for this compensator. I’m “mildly” obsessed with the echelon and I’ve invested in testing all sorts of accessories including 2 other compensators. My setup uses a 14.5 lb spring and I tend to shoot +p or high velocity ammunition and I can say confidently that this compensator out performs by far the other compensators on the market currently for the Echelon. Great work on this! I’m very excited to follow Rook precision to see what they come out with next!
